Meanwhile, JD Vance tricked kids into watching a video in his basement about how to report your parents to the post-Project 2025 government if they think their parents might be using IVF to have another child.
In vitro fertilisation is one of several techniques available to help people with fertility problems have a baby. During IVF, an egg is removed from the woman's ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory. The fertilised egg, called an embryo, is then returned to the woman's womb to grow and develop.
True Americans give out full-sized candy bars on Halloween, full-sized candy canes at Christmas, and chocolate bunnies that are not hollow on the inside at Easter.
Honestly, in 2019 full size bars weren't that bad if you brought them from a place in bulk. I got mine at costco for a pretty good deal, I wanna say like 32 bars were included and it was under $30 at the time. For comparison, costco also had a giant bag of mini ones which was around $20. Because I didn't have a huge turnout of kids I was able to get away with giving full bars for maybe $10 more than what I would've spent. I think it was worth it when you see the kids faces drop when they realize your house is giving away the good stuff.
With that said, chocolate has gone up a lot during the years of inflation and that same box is sadly a lot more now, so I have dropped back down to just the large bag of mini ones.
I was concerned that the house looked too fancy and maybe Walz is rich, but it turns out that it's a Governor's House and thus a state-owned property that he's allowed to live in. He's actually no longer living there, and now renting a home. His net worth is estimated to be around $150k.
Halloween isn’t as big as it used to be, imo. My neighbor and I are both really into it though so we go harder than most. I’ve made a couple kids cry with my decorations which I consider a success, lol. Gotta earn that candy, kid!
Walz is a great guy all around and it's really motivating as a voter to see him up there.
Not only is he a fantastic politician in regards to how he interacts with his constituents but he's incredibly liberal in regards to our countries politics. I feel like he's going to be a huge turning point for a lot of people, changing voting from "Can't let Trump get in" to "Maybe this country can actually improve."
Ok who cares? This is about as dumb as the “I could drink a beer with him” voters. It doesn’t matter if he gives out full sized candy bars, giant toblerones or oranges for trick or treat. His house could be the best house on the block during Halloween and he could be the most evilest politician those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Show what he did as governor to convince people to vote for him and Harris.
Why not both. We've been doing both. It's important to humanize them aas well and show what their accomplishment are.
You could have said 'not only is this image true but he also protected women's reproductive rights with the Pro act, trans rights with the Trans Refuge act, his gun safety measures which provided funding for violence prevention programs, expanded background checks, etc. Free lunches for all kids, voting rights for convicted felons, drivers licenses for undocumented people, paid family and medical leave by 2026, made weed legal'.
Instead you chose to just be negative, go off king I guess.
Because a huge segment of voters have proven they don’t vote based on boring facts of merit, but by psychological reactions based around how they visualize politicians as friends.
I get your point and agree with it to an extent, but I'd argue that being a good neighbor is a good thing in a politician. Sure, you can be a total asshole and do an excellent job as governor or president or whatever, but being a nice person is kinda helpful.
By all means, lead with the important bits (which for the record I have looked into and mostly like) and include this on page 12, but that doesn't mean it's worthless.
EDIT: Apparently he was governor in 2019 so it is a little different than him just being a good neighbor, but I think my point still stands. It's a hell of a lot better news than "Old orange fascist quotes Hitler again"
I literally can't vote you dork, enjoy inhaling your own farts you smug muppet. And maybe youre missing the part where he literally called in the army to put down protests??
The best gift I ever got was a T-shirt full of holes. The person gave it to me because I was cold. At the time everything they owned was the T-shirt and three ramen noodles. He went cold so I didn't have to.
What'd Walz sacrifice for those candy bars and drinks? As a politician he's chosen ideological slavery. If he wanted to make a real difference he'd have stayed a teacher and football coach.
The Widow's Mite, ancient wisdom, is a shit take? Awesome.
I think you need more time to develop the courage to effect your principles. But, I'm sure you're too busy developing the systems of exploitation, "engineer". You could defect. But, that takes courage. It likely doesn't even register as a choice.
He'd built up much more of a tolerance to the cold conditions than I had. It wasn't even a day before another prisoner found out what he'd done and gave him a long sleeve. And, once I was on my feet I bought the old man a couple sets of long johns. No one needs asked to take care of a man who'll literally give you the shirt off his back.
