I felt so sorry for retail workers when I read a sign on a store that said they weren't the ones making the rules and harassing them over it will result in a ban.
I couldn't even imagine the shit they've been through at this point.
I had a chair thrown at me at work because I told a father he couldn’t pull said chair up to the table because they were all replaced specifically to be 2m away and they weren’t allowed to be changed.
Told off an old guy who was waiting in line at a grocery store during covid. I was directly behind him. This fuck actually had the audacity to call the store from the line, request a manager, and then told that manager over the phone that they had better do something about it or he would.
Smiling doesn't just involve shaping your lips into an upwards arch. Usually your eyes are involved as well. This can be seen even when you're wearing a mask over your mouth.
My husband went to a conference 2 weeks ago in Florida. Blue collar industry, no one is vaccinated, no one wearing a mask. He came home and immediately had Covid (we are both vaccinated). I got it too. Motherfuckers. Oh, and if he wore a mask there is a very serious chance he’d be shunned at work, which we can’t afford.
Two of my distant in-laws both got covid last week and are... gutting through it. Neither have had boosters, neither wear masks even though they both have wide ranges of significant health issues.
