Difference: Ours aren't anime. They're live action. And only some of them are cute.
(I like the new Mayhem ad where the Mayhem dude is in a mascot suit of himself)

16 0 ReplyWhen ads give you lemons, you send those lemons back. Say, “I don’t want any of your damn lemons!”

Where are the cavemen?
15 0 ReplyYeah, I still remember that ad where he irritatingly looks at the caveman ad in the airport.
Silly ad, but I thank them for introducing me to Röyksopp! :P

14 0 ReplyThese are all the mascots for insurance companies in the US

I hate all of these because it's just insurance companies trying to grift as hard as they possibly can because insurance in the US is yet another legalized scam business.
24 1 ReplyBRING BACK THE ORIGINAL JAKE FROM STATE FARM
15 1 ReplyDude isn't an actor. He was just an actual employee named Jake who did a commercial that got big.
4 0 ReplyJake being bad at acting could have been a shtick
Like "Jake you're famous now! We need you to do commercials!" Jake "But I can't act!"
libertery mutual, a company that is referenced in the meme, even does this with a real actor that acts like he can't act.
Jake from state farm was supposed to be a normal dude. Him not being an actor probably makes his delivery that much better
Replacing Jake with a professional actor seems wrong. It's no longer "Jake"

16 1 ReplyThat's Jamie, he's the goofy one
13 0 Reply... Goofier than Flo?? God help me I hope I'm never subjected to one of those commercials

They subbed out Jake from State Farm and it'll never stop bugging me.
10 1 ReplyI don't know most of these mascots or what they're for and that makes me happy.
11 0 ReplyY'all leave Flo the fuck alone.
3 2 ReplyMan fuck allstate
5 0 ReplyMayhem commercials are the only decent commercials there has ever been or will ever be. I don't remember what brand they are advertising for but that's beside the point.
6 1 ReplyAllstate, I think. What’s weird to me is how close the character is to the same actor’s character on 30 Rock.

Where Mr Clean tho
5 0 ReplyHey it's not nice to call Flo an animal!
Also I've never heard anyone say that, cottonelle, puffs, charmin, coke, WWF, Camel, 9lives, and those are just off the top of my head, we have plenty.
Edit: OH, "Anime" lol I can't read. Not sure Flo counts as anime though, and tbf we don't have many anime (if we're talking about Japanese style animation) mascots, but the Brawny lumberjack and Mr. Clean are animated as are many other things.
4 1 Replyto be fair Flo is probably an animal in bed

You forgot about all the racism, that's very culturally significant to America
