A clearly frustrated GOP strategist and member of Black Americans for Trump Coalition lashed out at the man he helped elect on CNN on Saturday morning. It took less than two weeks in office for Donald Trump to exasperate Melik Abdul, who complained on Saturday that the president is making life diffic...
Careful, sounds like you're slipping into the old racist "noble savage" trope. Remember why Biden got backlash for telling someone "you ain't black" because he had reservations about voting for the democrats?
Dude just needs to shut the fuck up. You voted for this you goddamn moron! You voted the guy in that wants to revert to a chattle system you absolute dunce.
Yes, he is a dumbass, but frankly this is exactly what's needed. More and more of his base having reality hit them in the face, complaining loudly, and fracturing his support.
The painful part is he didn't even say anything like "I regret voting for you!" It was more like "I am strongly considering reducing the level of my support for you!"
Not that Don needs his support anymore. I almost feel like one of the biggest messages to keep pushing is: "Don doesn't care about you." As far as I can find, he hasn't even put out any comments on the pardoned Jan 6 rioter that was killed in a traffic stop.
What a surprising turn of events! Who could've possibly predicted this? Are you telling me that the party founded on hate for anyone who isn't a rich white guy is making things harder for whoever isn't a rich white guy? Preposterous!
I know this is nitpicky semantics and all, but the party technically was not founded on hate for anyone who isn't a rich white guy, it was at one point the party of opposition to slavery but after the Civil War ended and reparations began the parties sort of shifted and became moderate and heavily bipartisan until that all changed in the 1960s when Democrat President Lindon B Johnson signed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and political parties continued to polarize in the rise of the information era until reaching the peaks we're currently at.
Billionaire fascists have no friends, they have accomplices and pawns. Both are disposable once they served their purpose, much like the values and principles said billionaires pretend to stand for.
The only thing they value is themselves and their innate disdain for everybody else.
Melik Abdul is one of the nation's rising conservative voices.
A radio host, political analyst and strategist with over 15 years of public and private sector experience; Melik's unique ability to connect with audiences has made him a regular contributor across the ideological spectrum.
Since walking away from the Democratic Party in 2016, he has embraced his role as a key player in advancing the conservative movement.
There was a story I read 10 years ago about a guy in Florida. He was at a beach, and there were several signs and fences, and warnings not to be on the beach because there were alligators in those waters.
A policeman saw the guy, wearing a bathing suit, headed for the water. He yelled at the guy "NO! STOP! THERE ARE ALLIGATORS IN THAT WATER! IT'S MATING SEASON WHICH MEANS THEY'RE HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE RIGHT NOW!
Dude yells back "FUCK THE ALLIGATORS!!!"
Goes into the water and within 30 seconds is ripped to shreds in front of his wife and children. When his emotional wife tried yelling at the cop "WHY DIDN'T YOU RUN IN TO SAVE HIM???" The cop answered "I'm not going in that water. There's alligators in there. It's not even safe to have a lifeguard on this beach."
I bring that up so you'll understand the reference I make here.
I don't feel bad for "Blacks for trump". I feel zero empathy for them and the problems trump causes them. Not because they're black, or some racist thing, but because they ignored the alligator signs. All the signs were there. All the signs were there. All the signs said it would be bad for them. They still went into the lake. Fuck em.
Yup. I emphasize with every single person who was able to vote and voted Democrats, or those who were not eligible to vote. Everyone else? Especially if a minority who historically the R party have fucked over raw? Schadenfreude galore
Just absolutely feasting, gorged on gullible idiots, who've spent the last near decade being increasingly belligerent and manipulative and gas lighting toward everyone not in their death cult.
Too bad their idiocy will destroy much more than just themselves.
What a shame.
In other news, anyone wanna set up a hermancainaward style community for... Trump Regret Syndrome, or something like that?
I do love me some schadenfreude when its derived from evil idiots.
Weirdo party strategy. Play the good/bad to boost relevance and propel into the spotlight as an alternative or rallying point. No one would care or know about these people otherwise. No one here is stupid except those that follow the piper's flute.
you have to imagine they signed up to be token trump supporters, knowing they'd be invited on interviews both for their pre election support, and post election face eating. they wanted to be the circus. that's all, nothing more, nothing deeper. and the media are happy to oblige.
[Scene opens on a wide, desolate savanna at dusk. The camera slowly pans over a leopard lying under a tree, its large body barely able to move. The sun is setting, casting a cold, dim light over the scene. Soft wind rustles through the dry grass. The leopard’s eyes are dull, its breathing labored.]
Narrator (soft, somber voice):
In the wild, leopards are meant to stalk, to hunt, to climb. But for some, this is no longer possible. These are the leopards of the forgotten savanna... the ones who can no longer live the life they were born to lead.
[Cut to a close-up of another leopard, this one lying next to a watering hole, panting heavily. The camera lingers on its enormous, bloated body, its paws barely able to reach the ground. The leopard’s eyes seem vacant, devoid of the wild spark they once had.]
Narrator:
Overfed and unable to move, these leopards have been left to a slow, painful existence. They can no longer hunt their prey, no longer climb the trees to escape danger, no longer feel the thrill of the chase. They are trapped in their own bodies.
[Cue the soft, mournful opening chords of "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan. The camera slowly pans over a third leopard, sluggishly trying to rise, but its massive weight prevents it from standing. It lets out a heavy sigh, its once-strong legs buckling beneath it.]
Narrator:
They are the forgotten victims of a world that has abandoned them. Too fat to run, too weak to fight... These leopards are slowly fading, one breath at a time. They need your help.
[Cut to a shot of a leopard staring out over the savanna. The camera lingers on its face, eyes half-closed, its expression one of quiet resignation.]
Narrator:
For just $3 a day, you can provide the care and support these leopards so desperately need. A donation will help give them the chance to live a life of dignity. Help them find their way back to the wild they were meant to roam.
[The music swells as the camera fades to black, and the words "Your donation can make a difference" appear in white text on the screen.]
Narrator (whispering):
Please, don’t let them suffer in silence. The time to act is now.
[The music fades out, and the SPCA logo appears in the corner, along with a toll-free number and website for donations.]
The irony here is that Trump's coalition was so broad because these minority groups felt abandoned when Biden didn't fulfill his promises, but everyone here is kind of just pretending Harris would have actually done something for them. Whether it was inflation, cop cities, endless war, abortion repeal, or assisting in the perpetration of child genocide, Dems did a really shitty job.
And for those of you about to whine about 'both sides-ism', yes, both of you do lie and make extravagant promises during campaign time, and then always fail to deliver.
But you still vote Democrat and Republican anyway.
When Democrats lose, there's endless navel-gazing and wondering what went wrong. If there was enough minority outreach, if there was enough non-minority outreach, what policies should've been passed or left on the cutting room floor.
When Republicans lose, they simply don't give a fuck. No one on the right was asking after Trump's loss in 2020 whether it was a mistake to let him run again or if he should've done an interview with Charlamagne the God. They just doubled down on Trump.
The point isn't to say Democrats should be more like Republicans. Republicans are a loony cult, no one should be like them. The point is that there is an extreme and insane double standard, and anyone who acts like Democrats are the ones who need to be harsher on their candidates is hard to take seriously.
are the ones who need to be harsher on their candidates is hard to take seriously.
LOL, I remember in Biden's State of the Union when he ridiculed the Defund the Police movement, and it became crystal clear that you were voting fascist no matter who you picked.
Fuck yes Dems should be more discerning, but it's not like you the voter have any power. It's the rich picking your candidates for you too.
Sure, let's say "things didn't improve much" and "they're actively trying to kill us" is the very exact same thing, and justify taking sides with the later.
Yeah and I guess you vote third party or not at all which also is a vote for trump. Or maybe you're not even in the US. Pie in the sky idealism is great but unless you're organizing and changing the system BEFORE a generationally crucial election, and you voted third party (aka for trump) then you are just as naive and you'll suffer along with everyone else for your ridiculous unrealistic ideals.
Harris would not have doomed us all to climate change or borked the whole fed government (the consequences of which we're already seeing and will only get much worse in the coming months) and definitely wouldn't have blamed a plane crash on all non-white people with straight up Jim Crow era messaging. Your comment is disingenuous or severely misinformed.
