Hey! I'm sure Trump's got more than just concepts of a plan to put food on the table. We just need to remember his great accomplishments!
First President in history to serve a full term and increase the deficit every year he was in office.
First President in history to maintain a debt to GDP ratio over 100% for his entire term
Highest annual budget deficit
Most added to the national debt in a single term
Most new unemployment claims
Largest single day point drop in the history of the Dow
First President in almost a century to lose jobs in his first term
First major party candidate in half a century to lose the popular vote twice
Longest government shutdown in history (and he did that while his own party controlled both chambers of Congress)
First President in the history of approval ratings to maintain a net negative approval rating for his entire term
First President to be impeached twice
First President to have bipartisan support for his conviction after impeachment (which happened both times)
Most indictments, guilty pleas, and criminal convictions of members of an administration
With records like that I.... Legitimately wonder why my fellow Americans were dumb enough to vote him back in office.
Sooooooooooo much produce comes from Mexico. Antagonizing them can literally only make things worse for your grocery bill. There is no upside for your average person.
He has stated many times, on video, that he wants to be dictator for a day to enact extreme policies. I recommend you read up on Project 2025 if you haven't already.
At the moment, I think he wants to distract from his legal battles, the infighting on H1B visas, and from what government agencies he is planning on gutting. He will likely try to completely change the scope of or destroy: the EPA, DOJ, IRS, and the department of education. The chaos now is just a little taste to get us ramped up.
I think he will be unable to fulfill his campaign promises of lowering inflation, especially if tariffs are enacted. He will be able to use distractions to explain why no progress is being made on that front (and/or by throwing Biden under the bus, which has already begun)
It's not a stunt, it's total megalomania and you are falling for the coping tactic of pretending he's not serious in his literal statement to expand the borders of the US north and south.
Yeah he doesn't want the world seeing that he is begging the SCOTUS to make rules not apply to not-yet-presidents and 34 felony convictions shouldn't count to gonna-be-in-charge-guy.
