Bernie Sanders: A Mass Movement Can Beat Health CEO Greed
Bernie Sanders: A Mass Movement Can Beat Health CEO Greed
We spoke to Bernie Sanders about alleged health insurance CEO shooter Luigi Mangione, the crisis of for-profit health care in America, why only a mass movement can win Medicare for All, and how to fight the growing share of working-class votes for the Right.
3 0 ReplyI know we loved the leaded solution and we won't cry if more happens but yeah at the of the day the system will need a legal reform to properly depose the parasites.
Shootings might continue until morale improves?
11 0 ReplyMy morale is already improving personally. 3 lead tablets a day keeps the insurance companies at bay. Guaranteed to get you a better rate.

We've had several mass movements about it over the past 15~20 years, the only thing that has worked so far is lead poisoning.
13 1 Replycertainly if the movement is fast enough, as we've learned.
17 0 ReplySay a muzzle velocity of roughly 1100 ft per second?
10 1 ReplySometimes it do be like that

But when I say the same solution I get banned from communities for being a "coward" and "copaganda."
12 3 ReplyI think if Bernie suggested murdering all the CEOs he'd get banned from his communities, though.
10 1 ReplyYeah but how come CEOs never get banned anywhere for murdering all the working class Premium payers...
Hmmm
7 0 ReplyI don't think such things have ever or will ever stop Bernie Sanders from speaking his mind.

Word is, when Bernie first saw the news of the murder, he said, "Fuck yes."
41 4 ReplyThis country needs to have a mass bowel movement and flush that shit down the drain.
16 0 ReplyMass movement, movement of mass, close enough.
14 0 ReplyI want to live in the timeline where things Bernie sees actually come true.
155 1 ReplyIf it weren’t for Hillary and the DNC being corrupt, Bernie would have destroyed trump in 2016. I know so many people where I was living in middle America that flipped from Bernie to Trump.
68 4 ReplyI wasn't in middle America, but experienced the same thing. I still don't understand it. Is it just populism? If so, not good. I definitely shed friends in 2016.
16 1 ReplyAlright but Hillary Clinton beat Bernie Sanders in the Primary Elections, so the "corruption" you're referring to is like 30 Million People.

Bernie can read the room. These other fuckers very much less so.
134 2 ReplyThe others can read the room too; they’re just in an entirely different room.
21 0 ReplyIn the took with CEOs?

I'd step back onto the streets with Bernie at the head again. A small part of me still holds that hope from 2016.
52 0 ReplySo many fucking years ago. Ended any passion I had towards politics.
25 1 ReplyNever forget Bernie's legacy... https://youtu.be/ZlZaVtCT5HI
6 1 Reply
Yes he can. I am happy he still has a voice.
14 0 ReplyI feel like they can just choose not to because wheres the money in that?!
16 1 Reply
Mass movements can do lots of things, but we can’t even get a majority of people to vote…
43 2 ReplyVoting is how we got here...
Political proces and utterly captured
Otherwise we would have had Bernie 2016.
I am tired of political clowns pretending like politics is the solution, it is key part of the problem.
Did you see how politicians are reacting here.
Besides Bernie that is
3 1 ReplyBecause people don't feel represented in the current FPTP voting-system, which to be fair, was designed by wealthy romans to benefit wealthy romans.
10 0 ReplyAs it turns out, you only need like around 5% of the population to start a revolution (if even that amount). Revolutions have been started with even fractions of a percent.
7 0 ReplyWe can get a majority of those that do vote to vote for Trump so I am not that hopeful.
22 1 ReplyI can't even get a plurality of people to agree that we should have a national strike.
13 1 Reply
a mass movement of 3d printed felonies
8 2 ReplyI didn't see any felonies
Just a well done job.

Fuck it, i think Luigi’s method is gonna be more effective.
25 4 ReplyWhat's easier, motivating hundreds of thousands of people to get out and protest, or letting a few moderately motivated people take direct action?
9 1 ReplyNot protest. Y'all need at least a general strike to have a shot at doing something. That or found/get behind a third party and kill the DNC.
7 3 Reply
Give it a try Bernie, maybe if you say it someone will listen.
15 1 ReplyI healthcare insurance companies need to become extinct.
22 1 ReplyGood interview, good vision. Should have been Bernie.
19 0 ReplyYou heard it from Bernie. Sharpen those pitchforks.
19 0 ReplyI wish we would see a movement like this in Canada when it comes to grocery giants like Loblaws
13 0 ReplyLoblaws got a parastic CEO and y'all got school shooters?
Might resolve itself at some point but who knows
No way to tell tbh
1 1 ReplyDo they also have a law review?
4 1 ReplyI think Bob has a law blog.
6 0 Reply
He is not wrong lol
13 2 Reply8 1 ReplyBeating them is another good option, well reminded, Bernie.
4 0 ReplyPeñata economics... Beat the rich until the money comes out
2 0 Reply
Yes, yes it can.
8 2 ReplyOnly if that movement is armed.
8 4 Reply💩
