It's pretty normal for an auto factory to run 24 hours a day with three 8 hour shifts. 100% of them manage to do it without having workers having to sleep in the plant.

The guy has no work-life balance and will likely put in insane hours. He’s warning there will be extra effort to put in, extra time, all companies do this but usually not so bad. While I’m happy not to work there, the important parts are whether he pays them appropriately for that kind of overtime, whether it’s temporary, and whether they can refuse without retribution
