Reminds me of the tweet that a younger veteran wrote. He said he was out shopping while wearing something indicating his vet status, and he was approached by an old man in a MAGA hat. It went like this apparently:
I imagine that people like this have always felt this way to some degree. Maybe because it was a different time back then, or maybe because they were younger (and thus more concerned with peer pressure), they were silent. Now they feel emboldened; for whatever reason. It’s like Pandora’s box: it’s been opened, and even if you close it, it’s too late. It’s out there now.
im not that sure. of course they were probably never friendly with democrats but russia was not far removed from literal communism for most of these guys’ lives.
If you're up to date with The Boys, Firestarter (Firecracker? The lady who cozies up to Homelander and takes medication to lactate) says about as much.
i don't think those two in particular look like cult. IMHO they look like edgy trouble makers trying to stir some shit and enjoy the drama. i think they would switch sides the minute they can cause more havoc with the other side, unlike loyal cult members.
