I recently exited a public assistance office, sat down on a bench to hit my vape.
A minute later an obese sunburned 55ish yr old white guy wearing a 'Q' tshirt waddles out, and is followed by his even more obese 50ish yr old wife wearing a Trump hat, who is berating him about 'it ultimately being his responsibility to provide for us', and throwing her arms around and dramatically sighing like a 6 year old being told they cannot have a second dessert, until they drove away in their fairly new, gigantic oversized truck, with TRUMP screened onto the rear window, which was spotless other than worn tires.
10 seconds, and it was the most succinct summarization of the stereotypical Trump voter I'd ever seen.
Only could have been more stereotypical if opened beer cans fell out when they opened the doors to their truck.
Trump was already caught on tape shitting his pants. He audibly shat himself during the CNN debate. You can go on YouTube and hear it for yourself. That man is a pants shitter, I heard it with my own ears.
Nah. Once trump shuts up, it’ll take about 3 years for the fugue state to clear, then they’ll be embarrassed and pretend they never supported him in the first place while voting for next fascist.
If they haven't already keeled over and biffed it from Covid, diabetes, old age, or having a trans person in the neighbourhood. All that hate and anger ain't good for one's health.
After 2020 most in my area switched to Thin Blue Line flags.
Still a few pickups with Trump flags and one neighbor with a banner the size of his garage door. But the black and white american flag cut into a cross feels more dangerous.
As others have said, a lot of the areas that were all trump signs/flags a couple years ago, now have no signs, and a number are even putting up Harris signs
I know a nice little overpriced corner store staffed by immigrants. Two other corners are huge old ramshackle houses, and I mean ramshackle, hey I love ramshackle, but anyways flying ginormous flags and having weird drama. The fourth corner is a little park with benches and bball courts, but they have one bench closer to the road, away from the action, closer to the intersection.
Also this is like two blocks from the homeless shelter, where they keep encouraging me to come back, so I can save money. But once in in there, can't leave unless I going to work or I get a special dispensation. Dumbass, I work 2md and 3rd shift for the differential and overtime. Don't tell me I can't leave. Much love to all the social workers and health care professionals and the Hope House staffers who aren't dicks.
