My socks. The left foot indicator is on the right side of the sock. The right indicator is on the left side of the sock.

That's probably so it's easier to see them instead of being hidden on the outside edge of your foot I'm guessing?
94 0 ReplyWhy not in the center of the socks then?
9 5 ReplyBecause the way you probably raise your foot toward you when putting on your socks ends up with that spot pointing toward your eyes.
As to how that helps before you've actually got the sock on, you'll have to ask the designer.
33 0 ReplySo they’re right next to each other when you’re looking at them.
19 0 ReplyI'm not entirely sure. I've never had socks that were labeled left and right like that so this is all just my best guess. Maybe they were trying to keep it discreet?

I dare you to get milder than this.

What's infuriating about that?
22 0 ReplyHonestly it would be more mildly infuriating if they both weren't on the inside of the foot so I'd say you're good.
20 0 ReplySo you can see it when you cross your leg to put on your shoe. Then it would be facing up as you look down.
12 0 ReplyBut the socks are already on your feet at that point? Unless you sometimes forget which foot is which lol

Are you sure your feet are on correctly?
11 0 ReplySeems like a good design though?
11 0 ReplyIt's more symmetrical that way
10 0 ReplyThey're actually in love with each other and those are tattoos of the other to show their love.
10 1 ReplyExactly the kind of thing I would expect to mildly infuriate someone who wears socks labeled right and left.
7 0 ReplyAt least they are in alphabetical order.
6 0 Reply6 0 ReplyYou’re wearing them on the wrong feet.
5 0 ReplyOk, but why do they even need side indicators? I thought socks could go on either foot.
6 1 ReplyI also have socks with side indicators. They're designed to fit the feet, so the entire socks are asymmetrical. Theoretically you could go by the pattern, but when you're pulling socks out of a hamper it's a lot easier to match them via letters which you know are always at the ends. It's pretty convenient and makes it impossible to match them incorrectly, so I think it's a good design choice.
6 0 Replythe entire socks are asymmetrical
They are not. they are just mirror symmetrical

I have 1 pair with similar indicators. The end of socks is not symmetrical, they are in a shape of foot to get a perfect fit and if you wear them the other way around they are not as comfortable. Good pair, I like them.
5 0 ReplyWith these socks the big toe area is longer than the pinky toe area. That, I’ve worn them backwards and haven’t noticed.
Not something I intended to buy when I bought socks online, but it was how they came.
3 0 ReplyThe fact that you have worn them on the wrong foot and not noticed is the real mildly infuriating part.

There's something written on the toes, maybe it's a story!

This is so other people are less likely to see that you have L and R for your socks. Yes, I know these are probably inside your shoe, but some people wear socks and sandals.
3 0 ReplyThese Balegas? I've got something similar on mine

They’re just trying to disprove my assertion that it’s always the left sock that goes missing.
Relax, it’s just big sock doing big sock things.
1 0 ReplyHave you tried using letters to differentiate them? I have 1 pair with similar indicators and they are on the same place.
