Utrecht public library
The main seat of the Utrecht public library is 132 years old and used to be a postal office.
I really love the architecture, the main hall always impresses me whenever I visit.
This is the vantage point from where I took the photo, helpfully highlighted by the halo :)

Winnie up on the kitchen cabinet
I took a picture of my cat some days ago and I think she looks amazing in this pic.

George on the Xbox
Please note: the Xbox was not powered on when this photo was taken, so if you’re a nerd angry at me about thermal issues with the Xbox, just take a deep breath and know that I’m a nerd too and wouldn’t allow George to compromise the ventilation needs of my Xbox.

Abandon Car
I saw this car about 10 miles in on Bloody Basin Road, North of phoenix. There is a sign at the freeway turn off saying "Road not maintained for passenger cars"...

After reloading the trail cams for 4-years, finally caught something cool!
Young black bear! Juveniles have rounded Mickey Mouse ears, so I'm not sure about this guy/girl. A bit small for an adult? Not seeing tracks, but there are dozens of small, disturbed spots where I suspect he was poking his nose in the leaf litter.
Also grabbed a pileated woodpecker, the Woody Woodpecker sort. Saw one while sitting at my table one day (holy shit they're bigger than I thought!), immediately hung a suet feeder. First batch rotted before anyone ate it. Put the last load in a month ago and it's all gone! I think they've found me.
(Too lazy to program the timestamp on every battery change.)

Glimpses of beauty amongst the shit.
Preface I have depression, I live in a small city with plenty of decay forced by a system that can't offer happiness to the majority so I try and take notice of the glimpses around me and I wish I could better illustrate what I see through something better than a restrained photo but also its not the only limiting factor. Anyway hopefully someone here can see something similar to what I did.

Put Sandy in the big pen for some exercise before brushing time. She really let loose!
I didn't even have to crack the lunge whip to encourage her to go. She just ran around all by herself lol

Taking the flats for a walk
A walk in the forest, Eidsvoll, Norway, this July. The dogs are flat coated retrievers and absolutely adorable.
