Yea, Obi-Wan would've said something effectively the same, but sounding like wisdom. Like, "Anakin, you musn't rush in to situations so much. Meditate on it and find an answer that doesn't involve rushing in with your light saber." or something... I guess that's still better than stfu, but...
And then Anakin rushes into the situation in with his light saber. Obi-Wan waits a bit for him to notice the mistake and rushes for help. Obi-Wan get in severe danger, Anakin solves the entire thing.
And half a dozen stuff considered war crimes get done in between them, but they stop something much worse from happening.
(That's a spoiler for only a few dozens of Clone Wars episodes, though. Most are different.)
