Dark souls doesn't really have a villain though. Gwyn is just there consumed and burnt out. If anything Seath is the villain, he's actively meddling in the world of darksouls.
Idk, isn't there a lot to say that he was being fucked with by oolacile, and this twisted into the form he is now via (speculation) magical experimentation? I feel like Gough says something of that nature. I'd think that maybe makes the citizens of oolacile who participated in that the villain(s).
And Seath, like the other commenter said. If only for kidnapping and experimenting on maidens.
I want to play it, I'm just saving it for last since I've heard so many times about Sekiro being the best, the hardest and the only game that feels like your first Soulsborneringwhatever again. I missed a lot of From games due to not being able to afford a console/gaming pc and only got back into them with Elden Ring. Since then I've been slowly playing all the ones I missed and some similar games like Nioh.
Interesting take, but he does have technique and finesse in that fight... He'll even grab you! Yet also mindless aggression. Makes me think of Bane's quote: "You fight like a younger man, with nothing held back. It's admirable, but mistaken."
