Honey, I'm home!
I feel like I can finally make the full switch from Reddit now, thank you dev ❤️
Bought the app within 5 minutes of logging in, thank you for not having a ridiculously expensive ad-free cost 🥺
I didn't even notice the ads, but purchased on principle because it's not a subscription.
27 1 ReplyI didn't see ads, but maybe my PiHole blocked them?
Regardless, I spent the £3.08 for the advert free version regardless, the developer more than deserves it and more for all their good work.
15 1 Replyjust bought it myself. wow. I just realized how much I missed boost.
15 2 ReplyMe too. I've been using the mobile site until this was ready. It's workable but it's just not the same.
4 1 ReplyI was using jerboa. but it has nothing on boost.

Wow, excellent initial release, looks and works great.
Paid the ad free doo-hickey without hesitation. Don't recall seeing any ads beforehand.
13 1 ReplyGuys, now use boost to create content on lemmy! That is what is missing in lemmy. Comment and create posts!
13 1 ReplyYeah. Actually good pricing. Imagine that huh?
Everyone who paid 120 dollars for an app that shouldn't be named has to feel real good right now.
16 5 Reply$120? For what app?
5 0 ReplySync. It has a monthly sub or lifetime for $100. But just the ads removed is still $20. Quite high no matter how you slice it.

Seriously, that pricing is bonkers. I mean it's a great app, but not at the level of productivity software!
I was on boost and switched to that ine for a while, but now I'm back on boost again. Ah, choices.
5 0 ReplyThat is for Ultra, just removing ads costs less.
6 2 ReplyStill outrageous

Eww, which app was that? $120?

Still using sync after trying... Many (too many) apps. I don't see any ads, only the empty placeholders and they are very few. I like Sync for its fluidity and nice ui+gestures, and probably will stick to it even after those ads will become real - as I said, there's no ad right now. Real question (no flames pls): What does Boost offers instead?
5 0 ReplyI don't see it as available here in the UK yet. Is it finally here?
5 1 ReplyI'm in the UK and was able to request access after reading this post https://lemmy.world/post/5478381
5 1 ReplySame for me, just takes a little while before you can actually install the app (couple of hours for me)

Same here! Been trying so many apps since switching and haven't found anything as good as Boost, and I just got it for Lemmy 5 minutes ago. Just quoting you so easily felt great.
Didn't realize how much I'd been missing boost until I got it back.
Thanks Ruben. Also, how do I buy this?
1 0 ReplyPaying for a an app for Lemmy. Oof.
2 9 Replywho hurt you?
2 1 ReplyCapitalism I guess. This whole thread reads like paid bots, lol. I'm happy with my free apps and saving the extremely limited money I do have.
