I really don't think we can out-weird tumblr. Then again, we do have an nsfw instance ...
- Now, I haven't been to any of the darker corners of it, but tumblr seems to have gotten tame af after they banned all nsfw content.
  
  Didn't they revert that policy because so much of their traffic was porn?
- Like we're not all ex-tumblr users.
  
  IDK man, I've spent a lot more time on CuratedTumblr (r/ and c/) than on tumblr.com. I've been there only just long enough to come to the conclusion that I either don't get how you're supposed to use tumblr or that it's annoying to use (so. many. reblogs.).

  YES! I still use tumblr.
- and those other places no longer do porn, so anything that starts out as porn and somebody decides to turn into 'high' art can only really thrive here, or pornhub.
  
  There a few NSFW creators her on Lemmy, that are trying to do artistic work. It’s rare thou.
- I think I can out weird Tumblr. I mean, I somehow have negative 1 notes on one my Tumblr posts.

- Someone had already built a Bluesky-Mastodon bridge and had to take it down because Mastodon users lost their shit at the thought of other platforms being able to interoperate with them.

  Wait what? Really? Weren't people mad at Bluesky for the fact it didn't federate with ActivityPub?
- Tumblr said it'd join the fediverse like 2 years ago but I don't know when they actually mean to do so
  
  They said recently that they'd add activitypub support once they finish migrating to wordpress.
