Early surviving diving suit for ship and cargo salvage, Finland, 18th century AD

This suit looks loose but the extra space was needed to accommodate the enormous set of balls it required to sink into the ocean in that thing.
Why the mouth hole like dat
- Historians don't like telling people this, but they were primarily used as gimp suits to keep tensions from rising on the ship.
