I'm not trans but I proudly support all of you. And recently I was training a new guy at work and his dumbass decided to start telling me his ideas about what he thinks of all this and he basically said, people can do what they want I guess, but I don't want people forcing those ideas into my kid's head. I grew up as a Christian and that ain't right... Which really pissed me off and I said have you not considered that you are the one forcing ideas into your kids head? I mean there's literally no one telling your child at school that they SHOULD choose to be a different person. If anything, they're trying to teach them that it's okay to be someone else if you feel that way. It stopped him dead in his tracks and I told him that you are only a Christian because someone forced that idea into your head when you were a child. You only feel this way about trans people because the media forced that idea into your head. You only believe this shit because your parents were (he admitted) racist pieces of shit who force these ideas into your head. And if you're going to actually say that trans people are trying to force this idea into people's heads, then you are a hypocrite. I doubt very seriously it got through to him but at least I stood my ground. I'm so fucking tired of these idiots and I'm not even the one who has to deal with their prejudice the way you do. I offer all of you every bit of strength and good vibes I possibly can to deal with the nonsense of the fucking morons this world has managed to produce.

Weed. Lots of weed. And video games. Not quite Snoop Dogg levels of weed yet, but I'm still not sure I'd recommend this much weed, lol.
Weed is nice in moderation. Going to the gym helped me develop healthier weed habit.
I try not to obsessively track everything that's going on like I used to. There's only so much one can handle without it tanking mental health. Helps me feel better to support other trans people and spread resources. Gotta focus on the things you can do and accept that there's things you can't do much to change. It is what it is. For transphobia in everyday life, I try to lay low and avoid any situation that might arise if I can, but it's not always possible. Having friends who 'get it' to vent to helps.
Another thing I used to do was listen to transphobes. Always used to think they might know something I don't. They don't know shit and now I've done enough searching to know that they're just plain wrong and not worth my time. Don't let anyone try to tell you who you are or what your nature is, because you're the only one who truly knows and you are the only one with the power to determine it.
This is so right. The problem with insisting on hearing every side of every argument is that you'll end up spending so many hours of your life just absorbing the thoughts of people who are completely clueless, potentially even making yourself dumber in the process. It's just not scalable.
