Granted.

The poor car was setup for the Internet. It could never drive, it didn't know. It probably never even had lessons. The Internet is fucking with cats and that never ends well.
I'm about 3 or 4 option #2s behind you but I agree. Glad to see older anons still with it.
I really want to stay there
This damn picture created more conversation than the actual post

The Signal is a full mind bender of a movie. If you haven't seen it or heard of it, go in blind. It's not a pleasant movie but any means, but a fantastic independent psychological thriller. One of my favorites.

Because Harvey Weinstein's not only a creep but a total POS, there's no way to stream this movie on any streaming services and it's beyond Kevin Smith's control at this point. But it's definitely one of his funnier films though may not be everybody's cup of tea. But, if you like Kevin Smith, definitely watch this. Probably won't be up long but, who knows?

Another Stephen King adaptation based on the book of the same name. If you 4 hours to kill it's a good time!

Very cheesy movie from the Stephen King book but very thorough as far as adapting a 24 hour book into a movie. I believe it was a TV special when it came out. I've always loved this movie.
When the Yogurt Took Over by John Scalzi
When the yogurt took over, we all made the same jokes – “Finally, our rulers will have culture,” “Our society has curdled,” “Our government is now the cream of the crop,” and so on. But when we wer…

This is one of my favorites, it's an interactive reading experience sort of, but it works on mobile as well as desktop and it is really not what the title makes it sound like. It's quite an amazing read. Maybe a little too long for this place but thought I'd share! Let me know if you like it! There's a sequel as well!
They're Made Out of Meat by Terry Bisson
This is one of my favorite short stories. I'm sure most of you have read it. It's pretty popular. Glad I found this instance. I'll be posting a few things that I haven't seen here. Let me know if I overdo it lol.
Moving to Sacramento in February or March from Oklahoma for work
I know this is a small community (here on lemmy) but I was wondering what is a good area to live there? We will make about 115k or so and are looking to rent the first year or 2. I have an 8 year old daughter and a wife. We are coming from Tulsa Oklahoma but are very left leaning. We love to hike and spend time outdoors. Def want a nice school for my daughter. Thanks for any advice!
