It was a well, actually.
- That makes a lot more sense and now is actually funny.
- Yours actually makes sense. At least written anyway, if you say the joke I'm sure you could emphasise the "Well, actually.." just right.
Maybe I'm being dense, but I'm gonna need a mansplanation for this one.
