I won't have a lot to enjoy from here on out in the USA, so I'm going to enjoy every moment of these idiots realizing that Trump will never actually lift a finger to help them now that he doesn't have to.

Tough to say for certain. There are zero political consequences for him now in pardoning them, and it will really 'own the libs', so I think there's a better than 50/50 chance he does it.
He’ll just manage to royally piss off every DC Police Officer who fought (and in many cases were injured , or worse) those self-proclaimed peaceful protestors that were anything but. The last thing he wants is a police force that would turn their back on him when he needs them most.
The big question is whether or not somebody with enough influence in Trumps orbit managed to explain that clearly to him in third grade terms he can understand.
I would be careful with that bet. Two of his major qualities are:
- Narcissism
- Transactional
If it suits him to free a bunch of people in order to gain power, he absolutely will. He’s also unchecked, so he has 0 risk.
Think of all the Trump stuff Trumpers have. There’s whole cottage industries around this stuff. What is a con man without a mark? Desperate.
There's barely under 1000 Jan 6thers in jail. Theres 75 million plus people that voted for him. Your math isn't mathing for the small number convicted and jailed adding up to anything other than pennies in profit if released.
Exactly, Trump is transactional, and he doesn't need anything from this group anymore, so why would he give them anything?
He might do it just to own the libs, TBH.

Next time an insurrection happens, just let it go. Let us see how much damage these lunatics can really do. Police, FBI have spent years gathering these psychopaths and for what? For all of them to be let go in one swift executive action? Psh, the politicians are on their own next time.
