I understand the gripes about NYT wrt trans rights and Palestine and general "both sides" bs, but within this context about endorsements it's worth noting that they are publishing a big series of pro-Harris editorials in the last couple weeks of the election.
we need 70's style regulation. no more than one media outlet ownership for each area. heck I don't even think we should allow a company to own both a paper and a tv station in the same area anymore.
Thing is if we taxed corporate income the same as personal and had a tiered system that would go up all the way to the maximum any entity makes it would do that naturally. Basically it would be a shocking system where the better you make money the harder it is to make more of it. Kinda like how major league baseball plays a harder game than t-ball.
Trump already hates Bezos for WaPo's reporting, he has nothing to gain by prohibiting the Harris endorsement. Edit: another poster said that Trump aligns more closely with his interests and that's probably it.
