My city warned of potential power interruptions during the eclipse, I'm assuming it's cause part of our grid is solar, and we have sensor Street lights that might turn on and drain power.
lady at my work insist that the government is doing some shady shit to the power grid and are using the eclipse as cover. Today I caught her looking at the eclipse without glasses and shading her eyes with her hand, when I told her it wasn't safe, she told me that they told people that, so everyone would buy the glasses and they can track who is compliant by the glasses code.
Anyways, it's these type of people who think they're so smart that they got it all figured out, but are in fact so stupid that they'll stare at the sun during an eclipse, because someone smarter told them not to.
I don't even understand that logic, even if they were tracking who went and got the glasses - what does that tell them?
"These people went and got eclipse glasses when we recommended it, so when we command them all to kill any Republicans or people who go against our LGBTQ+ adrenochrome agenda, those people who obeyed the order to get the glasses will for sure carry out those killings."
What even is the logic about being sure not to be "compliant?" What hold does someone have on you because you've proven you will consider and then follow reasonable medical advice?
With any luck, anyone dumb enough to become blind by following his example will also lack the patience to figure out how to vote while blind, and thus be removed from the voter pool.
Ok, so, everyone kept saying "don't stare at the sun without your NASA approved glasses," so I used my NASA approved glasses...you know what they should have said? "Remember to wear sunscreen on your face when you stare at the sun using NASA approved glasses"... My face hurts...
I was putting my eyeglasses over my eclipse glasses, on off because the colors completely changed with and without them. And one time I accidentally moved the eclipse glasses instead of the eyeglasses just for a split second, and that gave me spots in my vision.
