I was pulled down the far-right pipeline in the 2000's, that was when they started to pull the "we are just moderates between reality horribly misrepresented as radicalism and radical hatred misrepresented as pure evil for the sole sake of evil to make us look moderates in the eyes of naive fools". They did still had issues with anime (which they called both pedophilic and zoophilic - for the latter, a few anime girls with animal ears and tails were enough), gaming (which were made by thin armed geeks for other thin armed geeks, also there was the obvious Wolfenstein 3D), comics (yet again anti-nazi stuff), etc. This slowly changed as 4channers started to do "ironic" nazism for reals at one point, and a big turning point was Steve Bannon realizing he found an easily manipulable online lynch mob.
Logical conclusion from those statements: X is not trustworthy. Well, we all knew that already.

The one I can't seem to find an answer to though, is Ashlee Vance, originally from South Africa like Musk, wrote his Biography. (Works for Bloomberg or such). Is there a relation between Ashlee and J.D. Vance? I feel like we are going to find out they are second cousins or something, not like it would matter, but seemed strange to see the name Vance show up twice tied to PayPal money.
These days it is likely just so massive a population that last names are all to common to overlap.
