I could also see the hawks getting Biden to lean into it, the US is pretty good at knocking countries over really damn fast in an invasion, meaning a potentially tempting "win" for Biden to sure up support with moderates and boomercrats now that progressives are making noises about doing the "unreliable voting block that consistently forget that the tea party vote threats are always to primary a candidate not to not turn out at the general" thing they did in 2016.
