Can we host it ourselves a la Mastodon / Lemmy / Fediverse stuff?
Espresso using some older beans. Tastes alright. Made using a Z1presso grinder (145 grind setting), and a 9barista stove top espresso machine :)
Also recently bought a shaker for N2 cartridges to make nitro-brew at home. Really good when it gets hot outside.
What part of this is self-hosted?
Heck even Disneyland is cheaper per hour.
I just got back into Last Epoch after putting around 80 hours in when 1.0 released. Fantastic game!
I live in a very rural town in southern Japan. Japanese people flock to it but i never see any foreign tourists. It's such a picturesque little Japanese village -- Almost out of a fairy tale.
I know this will never happen by my friends and I talk about Larian doing something along the lines of Knights of the Old Republic. That would be absolutely amazing
What about external dependencies such as breakpad (which was also taken down)? I can't find a single repo with the complete code-base.
And tbh it's always been pretty decent. You can access (almost) your entire Steam library.

Been about 10 years now and my GoRuck gear doesn't even look used despite being carried any time I take a trip, which is quite often. Multiple continents, planes, trains, hiking, backpacking, etc. I'd say GoRuck (at least the American made stuff) is BIFL. knocks on wood
As a 9barista owner (and lover) this is right up my alley
Embrace, extend, extinguish. They'll play nice with the Fediverse for a while. Maybe years. But then they'll introduce a new feature to the Fediverse as a "good will gesture". Then they'll make features available to only people federated with Threads. Then they'll make features only people on Threads can see. And so on and so forth. We SHOULD care where the content comes from. Platforms that are neutral should be where our content comes from.
Correct :) been here five years though. Its been great
No, it was mostly short bash/python/php scripts.
I knew a guy who boasted about the number of repositories he created on Github. Said he created over four thousand.
I took a look. He did in fact sit down and create over 4,000 different, unique repositories. Each with a README and some slight variation on a few lines of code. That's some kind of dedication, I guess?
Maybe cockpit?
Free/TrueNAS.
We are not sustainable. And neither is any other device maker. This industry is full of “feel good” messaging, but generates 50 million metric tons of e-waste each year. We believe there's a better way.
Recommended apps?
Hey there worldbuilders, What apps do you use to generate maps and the like? What are your goto applications?
NixOS appreciation post
So after being a long-time Fedora/RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/etc user, I finally decided to give NixOS a try after the recent RHEL news.
And BOY and I blown away. You can do so much more than I thought possible with automation on NixOS. It's incredible!
Since I"m so new, I do have a question for you all: What's your go-to resource for learning Nix/NixOS?
Thanks!
Restarting in WoW: Classic
Hey all, I played WoW: Retail (from and until Legion, only about a year) and a bit of WoW: Classic when it came out.
I'm thinking about playing WoW: Classic again.
What are your must-have addons, tips, tricks, etc?
Thanks :)
Who actually likes Battle Passes in games?
Title.
I've never purchased a battle pass. They've always been a detractor to me. In any game I've played. I just can't bring myself to spend $10 here, $15 here , oo shiny skin $25 here, on top of paying $70 for the base game.
I've had this staff for around 15 levels now. Did I get a lucky drop?
Had this staff since level 52. I'm at level 65 now and I have yet to replace it. A few have come close, but the +43% damage to stunned enemies as a lightning sorc is really quite incredible. I've upgraded it three (out of 5) times now -- Even Unique Sacred items haven't come close.
Was this just a super lucky drop?
