I built the first 100% private, on-device "For You" feed on the fediverse
  • Just a quick follow up here - I added a simple toggle setting to Quiblr that lets you flip the arrow order.

    Apologies for the slow roll out, I had a big laundry list of updates in this latest release!

  • Yeah, just 15 seconds and jot down a comment. Whenever I’m even hesitant, I just leave a comment. Doesn’t hurt anything and it can always be removed if not needed

    Easier to remove later rather than add it after the fact

    I haven't seen a "recommended feed" feature anywhere else in the fediverse but I thought I would take a crack at building it!

    My goal was to make a privacy-focused recommendation engine that tailors your experience based on the content you interact with. None of the data leaves your device. You don't even need to log in for it to work

    • You can turn it off or tune your feed in the settings
    • Each post now also includes a show me more/less button

    The Quiblr web app improved it's onboarding

    Creating an account on Lemmy is not always frictionless. Taking inspiration from the Voyager onboarding, I've updated the onboarding process on Quiblr to be as painless as possible!

    The latest update also includes various bug fixes.

    Hi all, a few updates to Quiblr!

    • Markdown has been improved to be more flexible and cleaner
    • Post previews added when posting (to show a preview with markdown)
    • Link previews when sharing Quiblr links (i.e. server side rendering)
    • Bug fixes
