Producer and musician Sean Combs was sued in federal court on Thursday by his former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, who alleges she was raped and subjected to years of physical and other abuse by Combs.

I don’t have any stakes in this but every time there is a new "scandal" of some sort of celebrity being creepy and perverted I can’t help but wonder what the victims were expecting initially.
Since the invention of the rockstar concept sexual deviancy and substance abuse have openly been a part of the package. Being scandalous is the very essence of it.
Now i don’t condone any of it, but if people seek out someone with money and fame as their partner, how can they possibly be surprised by that? It’s even part of the initial attraction.
