After announcing it would be renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, Google has officially changed on its Maps application.
Way to crumple like a Kleenex there, Google. 🙄

Lol wtf, over here in Europe it now says "Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)"...
It says that here in America and changes to just Gulf of America when you zoom in. Absolutely shameful.

I'm not sure why you all seem to expect a mapmaker to take a moral stand on something, their product reflects the new name of the place.
Outside of the US, it shows up as Gulf of Mexico (gulf of America).
