Les Misérables as an eight episode series. Pretty good and great actors. It starts in 1815 post Napoleonic France and follows several characters in their struggles to survive and do the right thing in a cutthroat society in crisis.
You can watch it for free from France, Germany, possibly other European countries on arte.tv
Whiskey on the Rocks. Hilarious Swedish historical satire. It's probably better for those who understand Swedish, but I'd still recommend it.
Castlveania Nocturne S2.
First two episodes of Harley Quinn season 5. Feels like I've been waiting forever for it to come back, then I missed its premiere.
Might actually save up episodes to binge later at this point, if I can stop myself when a new episode comes out. The one thing that made the fact that it's only 20 minutes a week more bearable was a community that spent all week talking about it in between. And this place is like 80% politics, 19.9% memes and 0.1% everything else, including discussion of TV shows (and I'm starting to miss it tbh).
The Bureau / Le Bureau des Légendes. It's not a super recent TV show. It's being remade into "The Agency", but holy crap is the original good. Really believable spies TV show. Intense thriller with sparse moments of more action. I'm not French, so this flew under my radar for quite a while, and now I'm completely hooked watching about a season per week.
Silo: Nearly done liking the wider vision
JOJO's bizarre adventure: First episode was terrible, second had me interested
Yellowstone: Finished it including spinoffs, looking forward to the future projects without Costner.
