Weakening both the US and it's allies through completely pointless infighting is exactly why putin put trump in power.
A second term that will be just like the first, with red States suffering from tariffs on their products while blue States are ok.
Maybe this could break the disillusionment that their king has their best interest in mind.

There was a nice writeup on Cory Doctorows blog on Wednesday about why counter tariffs are kinda stupid and what else Canada should should maybe do, to strengthen its local and international position.
I've been wondering if there is anything I can do, as a not well off united statesians, to prepare for Trump's dumb ass tariffs?
I don't have any big purchases that need to be made soon. Maybe stock up on coffee and get used to eating nothing but rice and beans?
