This just made me think if a USB-C Ethernet adapter would work on my phone... That'd be awesome
On Android it likely will, I have done exactly that before. Kinda looks weird to see a ethernet symbol where the WiFi icon usually is
I've done that a few times to reverse tether Android phones and tablets
But then, where are you gonna plug your Ethernet cable?
If you bought a alien spider router just to use as an WiFi access point, you bought the wrong thing.
I have that and use Ethernet cable.
You do need a drill to get through all the walls, though.
I just have cables outside of walls, along the corners. And doors have enough gaps usually at the bottom to let a single Ethernet cable through and still close without any problems. It isn't very noticeable even without drilling.
