Steam's new disclaimer reminds everyone that you don't actually own your games, GOG moves in for the killshot: Its offline installers 'cannot be taken away from you'

Steam has apparently made a change to its shopping cart page in the form of a new message. It very clearly lays out to one and all that you're not buying a game—you're buying a license. The change follows on the heels of Valve modifying its subscriber agreement last month. 🖋️

  • Introducing Our New Name
      - Minetest Blog

“Minetest” is no more; the “Minecraft clone” is no more. Welcome 🥁 … Luanti! Luanti will always be free software, but that core principle is not everything it has to offer. Luanti is a lot of things. Luanti is a platform that is built to help you create. Obviously, all the repositories and community hubs will adopt the Luanti name in some form. Otherwise, Luanti now represents the future of the platform. Rather than rename all the namespaces to luanti, core will be the official namespace to use. 🖊️

The Brief History of Motion Sensor Aiming in Video Games

One is moving the body, the other is aiming where you’re shooting. But, Breath of the Wild is where most people got introduced to Motion Aiming In the process, “Motion Aiming” got a new name: “Gyro Aiming” (also, ‘Intu-Aiming’ was merged). Future KEX Engine games after DOOM 64 added Gyro Aiming support ever since But The Last of Us kinda works but Aim Assist is in use, and Gyro Aiming doesn’t like Aim Assist 🖊️
