It's already some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer FPS in a long time. Last game we were 4 players in a car and the driver was blasting "I Need A Hero" over his microphone while we bum rush the objective.
How much of a running sim is the game? How long to get to action when you spawn in?
Usually one of your squad members is close to the action and you can spawn on them. If not, you'll likely run for less than a minute to find enemies. It doesn't take long to find out where they are, maps aren't too big or empty that you rarely find players unlike something like Battlefield 1.
ooooooo I forgot about that. When I heard about the player-size I was in awe and I always wanted to play that game but never got the chance to try it...
Was it any good? Sounds like it would have been a good time with the right group
I never was - and still am not - an FPS person, but I absolutely adored MAG when I was younger. They sold me on the gimmick. I don't remember it too well, but I remember having a lot of fun playing it. I do think there were some issues where parties could vote to kick you just by having numbers if, let's say, a group of friends were playing together. But the game did a lot of really cool things that a lot of other games didn't.
One of my friends plays this game. He plays medic since he doesn't play many fps pvp games. He says it's very rewarding and recommends it even if you don't like traditional fps pvp games like COD.
