The point, to anyone with eyes, is that debates are a healthy way to measure a candidate's skills and mental capacity and to be seen in touch with the interests of the American people. Also, it gives at least the impression of a Democracy. Not here, however. Not even opening the door is anti-democratic. Hence my point. It's been fascist fightin' time since Mussolini coined the term in 1919. Centrist Democrats have spent the past four decades moving to the right to try to win the favor of members of the party they're now calling fascists.
