What do you mean by make it look realistic?
Clark Kent would have a bit of a problem if the Joker straight up hit his head with a mallet, and yet he walked away like if nothing happened.
Idk maybe I'd have to see the comic, cuz none of what either of you said makes any sense to me.

I think they're saying Clark knows that whether the Joker hits him, or if he uses his super strength to stop him, Joker will learn he's Superman's secret identity.
