Problem: Short freeze mid-fight, shows UCMD delay icon after the freeze.
Interesting thing is that death replay also freezes at the timing I lose the fight. the opponent doesn't seemed to have problem shooting though
Solution: Disable VT-x, VT-d, VT-c or VMX Virtualization setting in BIOS. (Credit: r/waxsta from reddit)
This one works realy well, once I turn off the thing. The problem no longer persist, It has been bothering me for three seasons omg.
Although I've demands for running VMs, I guess I'll turn VT off when I want to play Apex. Hope the devs will resolve this problem

Rediscovering Apex
Around 2020 I played the game for a short time and then dropped it. I don't remember why.
Hopped back in the middle of season 20 and have been playing almost everyday. I forgot how fun this game can be. No fall damage, unique legends, nice weapons (sound design and feel) and great movement overall.
Can't wait to play even more :)

Anyone having random short freezes recently
I've checked apex dev's bug tracker.
they say they're investigating a stuttering bug that only happens 165 fps or above.
I'm currently playing with 135 fps, but this keeps happening on me.
Am I facing a different issue from the one on the tracker?

Cant login on PS5
I just installed apex legends and as soon as I start it up it tells me to reset my password, after resetting my password it just gives me the same error. I did play once on PC when it first came out and wanted to try it on PS5 . Has anyone figured out how to fix this ?

Wholesome or Friendly Streamers?
I have been watching and thoroughly enjoying watching Dazs play Apex on YouTube. He is very good and he is constantly talking with people and offering super constructive advice. Also he's just a super friendly guy. Many other streamers are playing silently or aren't that great to listen to. Does anyone have streamers that are fun to watch and listen to play Apex? I highly recommend Dazs to anyone who has not heard of him!

Apex Legends is, yet again, falsely banning linux players

Thoughts on ranked this season?
Personally I'm not a big fan. It's more advantageous to camp for most of a game and you get barely any points for elims :/
Admittedly though, matchmaking has been a lot better.
They almost had something going for them this season but dropped the ball

Here I hit revenant with everything the PK got, and it's enough to break the shadow shield and do 18 damage to his purple armor

Mix tape
I think after this update they fucked up one of the best modes in the game. I use to love control due to the length and comebacks that happen mid game. Now there's no chance for comebacks as it is over faster than we can group up. I would finish my rank run and remain in mix tape the rest of the season but now that's over.
Seer is still fuckin retarded. Rev is ok no issues there.

I find GunRun to be the most fun one, because the maps are usually smaller and it's faster pace. More action overall.

Is there a freeze exploit present?
I've had a match where I couldn't move at all, but my ping was showing constant 80-100. Chat/Voice comms were working. Is this some sort of an exploit, or is it just apex server moment?

How are server issues in Season 17 ?
I was only able to play the start of season 17, unfortunately due to lack of time I haven't played apex in a while.
I play on the asian servers like singapore. Season 17 felt fresh, but every single game Me and friends were being kicked out of the game or just super laggy... shots werent registering, randomly teleporting to different places..
I understand that not everyone have faced issues like this but I'd like to know how the experience is right now. I want to start playing again this week, if time allows me to do so.

(Ranked) Appropriate amount of RP lost if you finish >10th place?
It looks like Respawn is dead set on keeping the RP system the way it is for ranked, but I think they should increase the amount of RP that you lose for finishing greater than 10th place.
In my opinion, it might be a good change to lose something ridiculous like 250 RP if you finish above 10th place, because right now it seems impossible to de-rank. Sounds like a crazy number and I chose 250 randomly, but the point is that it should -hurt- your RP to finish above tenth.
What do you think? Would this just encourage more ratting than what already exists?
