Im having what seems like the exact same problem with Satisfactory and other idler games. I'll come back and it seems like nothing happened when I left.
The other weird one is guild wars 2. If I lock my screen long enough, ill come back and itll render every frame I didnt see for that time at like 20x speed. Its super bizarre.
Vivec is half-Chimer/half-Dunmer though
Maybe we can just do project sundial now and call it good (thanka Kurtzgesagt for letting us know it exists right before election day lmao)
If it had been any other country in the world, you might have seen an actual response. North Korea is not to be taken seriously until they have proven otherwise, and with an impoverished, famished population that is locked further in the past than Russia, I doubt we will see much in the way of meaningful action from them.
I'm not christian and I assumed the experiment didn't allow for evolution as it was not specified in its parameters. I assumed that the monkeys were a horrible (and very wrong) analogy for random number generators, were immortal, and had no time for making offspring as they were all trained and consumed with typewriting, or physically separated from one another.
The monkeys would produce wildly more limited results than a random number generator mind you, and they are essentially frozen in evolutionary time, so they are not going to be writing shakespear.
The problem here is the implied entropic outcomes of each system.
If the monkeys were replaced with true-random number generators, then you'd eventually get shakespear. But they aren't RNG engines, and they aren't quantumly random.
Instead, the monkeys have a large-ish but very finite number of logical branches that they can take in their decision-making processes, with slight variations within a fixed genetic scope. They will slam away at the typewriters in a very specific monkey kind of way.
At the end of the thought experiment, you will end up with an infinite amount of monkey-gibberish and a slightly smaller infinite amount of soiled or destroyed typewriters.
Auxio is excellent. Has the UI I've been looking for for ages, can shuffle by genre, great queue system, etc.
Only part i dont like is that it has an unskippable modal at startup where it scans your library instead of doing this as an invisible async step in the background and displaying what it has as it gets it.
For AMD, it's literally just make sure mesa
is installed (it is by default on most distros), make sure radv
is installed (it is by default on most distros), and then go.
From there, if you are gaming, you handle whatever your games need like enabling 32-bit libraries for Steam if your distro doesn't by default, or doing whatever WINE or Lutris wants you to do.
Done.

I submitted a pull request to change the English user-facing strings to exclude the words "Reddit," "Subreddit," and "Multireddit" wherever possible, but there are still more languages to translate.
If you would like to contribute, please consider making a fork of the repo and updating the language strings for your native language. Take care not to change the actual variable names (i.e. leave the word "reddit" and "subreddit" in the variable tags, but change the actual string values).
The languages are available in this folder here, in the various values-...
