As I watched most of it live, I think that it’s important that people can watch and form their own opinions on the whole thing and not just snippets, memes, or other peoples’ views.

How does @SDF plan on handling the current situation with illegal images being federated/uploaded?

Lemmy.world had to shutdown a community and temporary restrict signups, other instances have purged image caches, and dbzer0 is using a scanner to prevent images from being uploaded if the get flagged.

I noticed that lemmy.world and slrpnk.net host old.lemmy.world and old.slrpnk.net and I was wondering if there was any interest in doing that here. Personally, I think it meshes with the SDF vibe.
