I've noticed a rise of Bot Moderators on reddit and their AI is not very good. They pick up on certain words and not context. One banned me for 3 days for harassment but I was defending myself against someone that was being antagonistic against me. My appeal was rejected :(
I'm against threats and harassment. In any case even if that vehicle wasn't Musk related it still is an eyesore - equivalent to brutalism architecture - and doubly so being the colour of piss ;)
The word "America" is not reserved for the USA alone and belongs to the entire Americas: North America, Central America, South America. As such if they want to rename the Gulf of Mexico then it should be the Gulf of North America of which both the USA and Mexico are a part of and share borders around that body of water.
Furthermore the word "America" isn't an English word but the German bastardization of an Italian word. Specifically the word "America" was coined by Martin Waldseemüller a German cartographer who named the Americas after Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci who explored the new continents for Spain and Portugal. So I guess the Gulf of North Amerigo is more accurate. LOL.

In any case, if this is the big orange blow-fish's attempt to dis on Mexico then it's pretty petty much like everything he does to massage his massive ego.
One way to counteract a conspiracy theorist is counterintuitively not to argue against them but instead simply ask "Ok, well fine, how will this theory make your (and/or our) life better in the here and now?" Keep the theory circling back to them and their life so as to get them to self-reflect as why they really want to believe in such a theory because that is the real issue that you should be addressing, not the theory itself. This method is better in face-to-face discussion and needs a lot of patience.
I'm an ex-Catholic as well. My advise is that you should pick your fights carefully as atheism in general has no response to our mortality that doesn't appear to be anything other than nihilism. Remember the saying "you may win the battle but lose the war" and that battle & war involves winning the the hearts and minds of your fellow humans.
As a fellow ex-Catholic you should keep separate debates about Jesus from debates against the Christian institutions that sprung up around him without his leadership or guidance. Basically call out Christianity for it's many hypocrisies, such as not loving one's neighbor, but be careful how you frame your debates against Jesus himself who is [unusually] absent [and late] from being here to defend himself [ ;) ]
God is Safe (for now) + Other Works
This is my first time posting here so I'm not sure if you will count this work (linked below) as pure philosophy but more like armchair philosophy that also straddles religious themes and existential questions with diagrams. It's kind of old dating back to 2015. The link below is the first part of a six part work that are also linked on the first work. Don't let the title put you off. Link = God is safe (for now)
