Hey, I'm a game dev behind Bedroom Battlegrounds. Thanks for the nice comment! Indeed, I plan on adding more diverse "battlegrounds", with the title I wanted to reflect the child-playing aspect of the game. If there's interest in the game, I have plenty of ideas on how to expand it further!
Great, looking forward to hear your feedback!

That's a great website that I didn't know existed, thanks for sharing!
I'm missing the joke... would anyone be so kind to help me understand?
I know a version with a graphics designer. They designed something in 10 minutes and asked 1000 USD for it. When confronted on why it is so expensive for just 10 minutes of work, the answer is that it's not just the 10 minutes of work, but also the 10 years of experience that lead to this 10 minutes of work.
Still doesn't work. It must be checking the account settings and not my VPN location
Same in Poland, and this is a game about polish history... Also tried Belgium, US and Australia via VPN and still the same. I think they messed something up in the page settings. Anyone any success with some specific countries?
How do you know it's your password if all you see is astrisks?
It's 0,000075 USD per mb now with your example, which is about 146 666 666 times cheaper.
I'll have to look at your project then, thanks for releasing it. I'm curious how you managed to do all that.
That looks amazing, you're a good UI designer. I can't get my head around Godot's UI builder, l very much prefer Unity's, so seeing something like your GodotOS blows my mind.
I think we work for the same company...
People kill themselves over much more mundane things than this. I think you overestimate teenagers unfortunately, not everyone can handle it as lightly as you would. Telling people to just "shake it off" will simply not work most of the time.
I am by no means gadget shaming, don't get me wrong. It's just I do all you mentioned there with a stopwatch on my phone, and personally I would never consider buying a dedicated stopwatch for this purpose. I'm happy you're enjoying yours though, may it last you long!
Have you heard of smartphones? 😅

Normal map doesn't work on MeshInstance3D
I'm trying to port my game from Unity to Godot and I got stuck on the issue of recreating the material I used in Unity, specifically the Normal Map. It doesn't seem to work properly as it did in Unity and I don't know what I am supposed to do.
See the video, where I show that enabling the Normal Map property on the Material of MeshInstance3D basically just disables the lighting on that surface. I tried recreating the normal map in some online software, but that didn't change anything.
Weird thing is that the material works correctly in the material preview on the right side of the editor, but not when applied to the mesh. Any idea what could I try to fix this?
Edit: The issue actually resolved itself after I applied the textures to another MeshInstance3D. I don't know why it didn't work on the first mesh...
Indian-Mexican wedding gift
We're Polish living in Germany and were invited to a wedding in India by a friend of ours. The groom is Indian and the bride is Mexican, to make things more complicated. It's planned at the end of November. That's the first time going to India for us, we don't know much about the culture. We don't know what we should get them as a gift. What would be a good idea for a gift? What's traditionally gifted there?
There's supposed to be another wedding in Mexico next year, to which we'll also be invited, so in case you have any ideas for that wedding - feel free to chime in already!
Thanks for all the responses!
