Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for explaining. I've been fortunate enough to avoid major medical expenses or debt, so I hadn't thought of the situation you've described.
Could you expand on why this makes such a big difference? I'm not very knowledgeable in this area. Is medical debt treated differently than other debts by lenders?
My first thought was that medical debt, like any other debt, has financial obligations that lenders would have to know about to determine the amount of credit a person is eligible for. Wouldn't medical debt payments impact the amount of additional debt you can afford?
I get that the law is the law, and the jury has to rule as such (barring nullification), but this is such a stupid law.
None of our other constitutional rights are contingent on not using controlled substances.
I think your last paragraph is pretty much the goal. It makes sense to me. Just don't post partisan articles from partisan sources.
My comment and this thread has nothing to do with rightly or wrongly voting for anyone. Nor does it have anything to do with how anyone should justify their vote.
I only reinforced the claim that anyone with a "D" next to their name is "fine enough" for progressives to vote for. A claim that you initially disagreed with, but are now proving to be true.
Actions speak louder than words. Who do these progressives keep voting for?
Time will tell if those people will still vote for Biden or if their hatred will be reflected in how they vote.
A Very Brady Sequel.
Alpine sack veteran operations director White
Alpine sack veteran operations director Rob White in the latest example of management turmoil at the French team.
The article has a good summary of all the management turmoil/turnover over the past couple years.
If I remember correctly the IMDB average is closer to 7.
That's pretty much my thinking too. I mean, what's the less biased alternative to get to the truth here? The law firm has an incentive to satisfy the people paying them, but they also have their own reputation to maintain.
So I guess I'd be inclined to skeptically believe their findings. Although, it would be better if the firm released their own summary (or endorsed this one).
That's the case now, but not historically. The big 3 were making garbage cars until foreign companies expanded their US presence with domestic manufacturing. Widespread foreign makes built in the US is relatively recent.
What are you talking about? American made cars (majority of historical volume) were notoriously bad until recently. Hondas and Toyotas were the exception. Now the expectation is that every make/model makes it to 200k miles.
And rust was an issue because they used inferior paint on older vintages. I don't see how blaming it on material deficiencies supports your point.
Due to cost or reliability improvements? Or both? Because cars are definitely operational a lot longer than they were 25-50 years ago.
I strongly disagree. If we don't nationalize IMDB then how can we possibly have any trust in the integrity and honesty of movie reviews?
Everyone should be entitled to have access to accurate movie ratings.
I think if they introduce a rotating calendar Imola would be an ideal track to have in the rotation. The racing usually isn't great, but it's not the worst, and it would still keep an iconic circuit in F1. Seems like a good compromise.
It's not scary at all from behind a keyboard.
Plus Senna being absolutely dominant year after year at Monaco.
I like to picture Jesus in a Tuxedo T-shirt, 'cause it says, 'I wanna be formal, but I'm here to party, too.'
F1 technical chief Symonds set to leave role
> As well as contributing to the roles for the new 2022 ground-effect era, he was also involved in the creation of the all-new cars that are coming for 2026.
> But with the chassis part of those future rules now all but signed off, and due to be published at the start of next month, it is understood that Symonds decided a while ago to call time at the F1 organisation.
> Although there has been no official announcement, it is understood that F1 staff were informed of the development on Monday. Symonds has gone on gardening leave with immediate effect.
You know, Jesus did grow up. You don't always have to call him baby. It's a bit odd and off putting to pray to a baby.
Kinda weird it was against the law before covid in most places.
FIA planning harsher F1 penalties to clamp down on Magnussen Miami tactics
> The FIA is planning to impose harsher penalties for Formula 1 drivers deliberately cutting the track to keep a position in the wake of Kevin Magnussen's antics in Miami.
> Motorsport.com understands the FIA is keen to start handing out drive-throughs in such scenarios, which solves the issue immediately because it forces the offending drivers to pit and cede track position within two laps.
> The escalating punishment would be handed out in case of repeat offences during the same race, when the stewards suspect drivers are intentionally going off track to maintain their position.

AI-Music Arms Race: Meet Udio, the Other ChatGPT for Music
A new Suno rival, Udio, is here, backed by tech and music heavyweights. It has powerful capabilities — and a weird habit of resurrecting Tom Petty
I've messed around with Udio and Suno quite a bit and I think Udio is a bit better. Especially with generating vocals without an auto-tune sound. Although I don't think it responds to prompts quite as well.
Milk and the Destruction of Western Masculinity
In the last 30 years, you can see a fixation in the West on diluting milk. Low-fat, ultra-pasturized, all that BS. Back in the 80snwe had none if this. It was just good, pure, American, 100% Whole Milk. But now, that's gone. Everywhere you just keep seeing this BS, and now we have fake milk. And ever since this shit got popular, you can see men getting weaker and weaker. Milk is an essential part of the diet, and Men need it for good Testosterone and muscle growth, its basic biology, not to mention the unpasteurized milk gave you immunity. But now, theyre taking allBack in the 90s, you could go outside and see good stuff outta the milk, its basically just white water now. And you can see the effects, back in the 90s, we had good, strong, masculine American Men. Nowadays, it's almost impossible to tell the average American man apart from the average woman (who also hasn't fared well from this globohomo milk BS).
Don't even get me started on the whole baby formula thing. Let's just say MY kids will be tits-only, and we'll see if they fall to the Woke Globohomo agenda.

Newey says ‘more subtle bits’ rather than Mercedes-like design elements key to RB20’s strengths
Adrian Newey believes that more “subtle” elements of the Red Bull RB20 are actually the key to its gains in performance, rather than the particularly noticeable visual changes that have drawn attention given the change in concept from its predecessor.

Tracks with what Mercedes was saying. Their issues weren't with the components you see on TV.
> However, those rumours have now been largely dispelled. Having taken over 25% of Sauber in early 2023, it is now believed that Audi will complete its transaction with Sauber owner Finn Rausing. While a 75% stake was initially circulated, Bild and Bloomberg report that Audi will realise a 100% takeover.

> “And of course, it's about the performance of the car and from 2026 onwards, that is a bit of a question mark with new regulations.
> “But I knew that, when I signed my contract, I also know what they have done for me in my career, right? So yeah, the intention is, of course, absolutely, to stay with this team, because I really enjoy it.
> “And I'm also really happy within the team. So as long as we perform there is no reason also to leave.”
