'Put that everywhere': Steve Bannon admits 'Project 2025 is the agenda' after Trump wins
  • A guy at work today said he wasn't worried about prop 3 failing because he has a medical Marijuana card. Like, dude, you're a brown man on a list of Marijuana consumers and the modern day nazis just got elected and now wield the fbi and DEA with no guardrails. He's fucked and he refuses to see it.

  • How do Americans win their country back?
  • What do you mean? Trump won decisively. Electoral, popular, in the senate, etc...

You're really asking, "how does a minority continue to exist in the face of a fascist majority?"

The answer is, generally, they don't.

  • Ballot boxes in Portland and Vancouver lit on fire: reports
  • Maybe this ages like milk but... The side that expects to win doesn't destroy ballots. It seems very likely to me that this was a Trumper and they all know, in their heart of hearts, Trump has a ceiling of 47pts and will never have broad enough support to win the ec again.

  • Boomers spent their lives accumulating stuff. Now their kids are stuck with it.
  • My grandmother recently died. Her son and his awful wife couldn't wait to swoop in and take all her stuff. I actually didn't mind though. They took all the tvs and old fur coats. Me and my brother got the pictures they left on the walls and the silly fridge magnets she liked. I think we ended up with the better stack of stuff at the end of the day.

  • Harris leads Trump 2-1 among the earliest voters, many driven by abortion access: new poll
  • For anyone thinking, "dems always vote early. This means nothing", consider :

This is the first presidential election since roe VS Wade fell.

This is the first presidential election since Jan 6.

There are a shit load of registered republicans and former republicans (hi that's me) that hate trump and can't wait to vote against him. Just look at Haley's primary votes. People talk about how the dems have lost young men but the Republicans, I would argue, have lost twice as many or more numbers of millenials and boomers from Trump's antics. It will just depend what state those balances work out in.

  • All these hurricanes might kick off a new modular house trend.
  • Modular or not, when there's 10-12' of storm surge and/or river flooding, it doesn't matter. Houses built today generally handle cat 3 and even cat 4 storm winds without much problem. It's the flooding that's the killer.
