Punch nazis, trebuchet TERFs.
I am building Voyager, a client for lemmy!
Try restarting your app. That can happen if an API request fails (or if you Lemmy instance isnβt federated with the target instance)
You can disable embedding cross posts in settings to get to the original Lemmy implementation if you prefer.
I would like to add filter by action/mod eventually but not yet implemented. There might be a request on GitHub, if not already that would be a good place to start.
You can do that (Voyager preferences only, not ones that are synced to your Lemmy account). Helpful if you reinstall the app for example. Settings general scroll to bottom then backup/restore!
Is this from the native app or PWA? Can you do a screen recording? Ty!
Ideally when Ionic supports the new material UI. Then I can invest a lot of time into cleaning up all the pages and making things look nice like iOS. :)
It is hard for me to want to invest a lot of time polishing an already outdated material UI version.
Either you blocked someone, or your language settings are incorrect. Lemmyβs language settings really suck.
you own the airspace up to the highest point of your property
Nope. Part 103 pilots often fly inches off the ground and itβs totally legal- usually farm fields. This is called class G airspace and extends from surface to 700 or 1200 ft AGL. The United States government has exclusive sovereignty of airspace in the US from the surface up, and any citizen has the right of transit through that airspace.
This looks like a bug, can you report it on GitHub?
they quite literally are recording constantly. how else can they detect the trigger phrase? they only difference is that they are supposed to delete these recordings after the phrase isnt heard.
I guess that depends on your definition of recording? An onboard microprocessor waiting for a trigger word is not storing or transmitting anything while waiting and thatβs acceptable to me.
Thanks π
Hmm, I can not reproduce. Did it stop working at some point? Any more details appreciated.
Update: I have a fix in the next release!
slrpnk.net is also running 0.19.4 with image proxy enabled, so I believe it is the same issue.
Thanks. This appears to be related to image proxying enabled on lemm.ee. Ugh, shit timing with my vacation coming up
Can you show a video or explain step by step what is expected and what is now happening?
Lol. Yes, they were swapped. https://github.com/aeharding/voyager/pull/1490
Itβs not Voyager. I donβt call or integrate with Google. Maybe https://github.com/nextcloud/Android-SingleSignOn/issues/388?
could the lemmy.ml censorship drama be related to this?
I think itβs just cooling down from Reddit migration. Same thing with Voyager donations (albeit smaller scale).

Introducing vger.social: A lemmy instance for Voyager supporters π
Hey there! Voyager for Lemmy dev here.
As I've been adding more mod and admin feature to Voyager, I've realized that self-hosting my own Lemmy instance may help me improve Lemmy moderation and administration in Voyager.
But I had another thought: Why not open up registration to Voyager supporters? It's a win-win: I get more real-world experience administrating a Lemmy instance, and Voyager supporters get a fun additional benefit!
Introducing https://vger.social :)
Q&A
- Q: Who can sign up? A: Those who donate any amount on a monthly basis, or those who have contributed a few PRs to Voyager
- Q: How do you track donations? A: It's the honor system.
- Q: Will Voyager keep support for other Lemmy instances? A: Of course! Nothing is changing there, vger.social is just another Lemmy instance.
- Q: Will vger.social work with other Lemmy apps? A: Absolutely! It's just a vanilla Lemmy instance.
Why use vger.social
- Guaranteed compatibility with Voyager
- Low user count = snag a better username
- It's well-federated, including https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/c/piracy
- General purpose instance hosted on US East Coast (potentially a pro or con for you, but faster response times for users in USA than lemmy.world)
- Rules against bigotry, hate and harassment (see sidebar)
- Hopefully better stability against any future influx of Lemmy users, compared to larger Lemmy instances
- Star Trek fans welcome I guess lol
Quick disclaimer
While I hope this instance is around for the long run, it is new, and therefore still experimental. If vger.social does shut down, I will give everyone at least 60 days notice.
