Will be interested to see what you think, not a lot of reports out there I’ve seen.
...with closures centred around holidays, weekends and evenings.
Sounds reasonable. I don't know if foundation work would assist with the whole trains cancelled due to heat but though.

Funnily enough this one the version released on the debut - not the Your Love Original Mix
TIL Director Robert Altman's 14 year old son earned more money from the movie MAS*H than he did.

Had recently watched the 1970 Movie and found the following [trivia from IMDB](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066026/trivia/
*According to Johnny Mandel and Robert Altman, the film's famous theme song was intended to be the "stupidest song ever written." After attempting to write the lyrics himself, Altman said he found it too difficult to write "dumb enough," and instead gave to the task to his fourteen-year-old son. Mike Altman allegedly wrote the lyrics in five minutes, not even expecting to be paid, since he was the director's son. He ended up making millions in royalties off the song.
The fourteen-year-old son of director Robert Altman, Mike Altman, wrote the lyrics to the theme song "Suicide is Painless." Because of its inclusion in the subsequent television series, he continued to get residuals throughout its run and syndication. His father was paid $75,000 for directing, but his son eventually made about $2 million in song royalties, with payments continuing, from first syndication through the present day, as MASH (1972) continues in syndication around the world.
No that’s a different one. There’s also Thunderbird: Free your inbox (Vers 8.0) which I assume is the release.

Not a persona release but Persona Adjacent - anyone played it?
I updated to thunderbird from k9 on fdroid- accounts etc imported ok.
I would talk to my boss about that but that would be me.
Yeah flawless - well deserved
I run windows, Linux and Mac boxes. The software I use for work will only run on windows and Mac, does not work well with any Linux virt windows app (though people are constantly trying). Windows is fine, I don’t particularly care for osx. I simply don’t like Microsoft attitude to me a user of their product.
OSX allows me to disable most things. I’m sure it will get shittier as well, but for the moment it works as well as my current pc. I do like apple hardware, not a fan of iOS.
Yeah good call fringe was a great show that didn't outstay it's welcome.
How much fun was the RE:4 remake?
Just finished it up - really enjoyed it, doesn't take itself too seriously or punishes the player with difficulty.
Definitely didn't drag as much as the original. The french dwarf dude wasnt as annoying. Will have to replay the original to see what was cut. Curious as to what others thought.
When my PC loses support I'll be on the Mac mini train. Would convert the box to Linux but my work apps aren't supported sadface.
Started playing GW:T a while back but dropped it for other releases. Not bad.
Not uncommon for drivers when racing to get their elbows out, or rookies trying to make their mark. It needs to be noted that Lawsons driving has pissed off multiple drivers in a couple of events.
This is notable as the other driver is under threat from Lawson being promoted to his seat due to poor performances over the year, with this one of the worst.Perez shouldn’t be battling Lawson he should be miles ahead.
Lawsons getting in the mix, being competitive there was lot of other similar action, but yeah didn’t need to rub it in.
I wasnt able to watch the whole race but is Lawson driving over aggressively as well? Seems like he's gotten on the wrong side of both Alonso and Perez now.
Perez shouldn't be fighting Lawson that's like Russell losing out to Stroll.
Lawson passes Perez and gives him the one finger salute (F1)
For anyone wondering how it he’s going.
If this season is max’s to lose he’s doing a good job. If yuki was to join they could have two hotheads in one team. Well done Carlos I would not have picked two Ferrari wins in consecutive weeks it looked like McLaren had momentum.
They had to restructure / remove Russian investment I think, which took time. They’ve been back to regularly releasing updates for around six months. Os is a mix of open and closed as indicated here
Android support used to be pay once, but now will be sub based in some way, potentially to get the os updates not sure tbh.
Legendary.
GG Sainz and Haas. Not sure where that pole came from.
My money's still on max taking it out

To be honest I hadn't given ed rush or optical a listen since Grooverider Presents: The protoype years, which included tracks from Ed Rush and Fierce, and Optical.
Enjoyed this set though.
GG Liam Lawson and George to be honest. Cotas not normally that interesting, but I enjoyed that one with the bonus of the constructors getting spicy. As a Ferrari supporter that was a pleasant surprise. Good 1st corner clash without a safety.
Nothing like coming back from the break fully deflated. Doesn’t feel like Hamiltons in the game at the mo.

Helmet - Meantime 1992
I haven't thought about Helmet for a long while, but was recently listening to the Lamb of God covers album, which had an (average) In the Meantime cover. Which made me want to give this a thrash.
Solid all the way though with a good mix of soft and snarling. Followed up by another couple of good albums before they split up for the rest of the 90s.
Deadendfollies classic album review
*...I’m sure a lot of you didn’t know or had forgotten about Meantime. It’s one of these records that left a blueprint on an entire era, but that was more appreciated by other musicians than it was by audiences. At least from a legacy standpoint. Others came after Helmet and performed more commercial variations on their sound, which eventually lead way to Korn and nu metal. But Meantime will live forever in the hearts of guitar music enthusiasts for its crushing riffs and explosive, never ending anger. *

Quite funny how all recipe posts have (frustratingly) a ton of content before you get to the recipe I assume to assist with ranking on their search and then Google just lifts the good stuff.
I wonder what the site gets as part of the agreement.
Manhunt: The 10 year search for Osama Bin Laden
I hadn't given any thought to the subject or a long time, being overtaken by other news stories but I randomly watched Zero Dark Thirty (not knowing what it was about) and found the story about hunting a public enemy that didnt want to be found intriguing enough to find out more.
Not really something I would normally read, but I found it a good general purpose account that provided a decent amount of context around and leading up to the event without being bogged down in detail.
Dunning Kruger - The Jesus Lizard (Rock)
I did not not have it on my 2024 list (or any other years list) that The Jesus Lizard would release a new album.
The film will chart the history of the iconic British microcomputer
The Fugitive / US Marshalls
Watched these two the other week, starting with USM. Love how the feature the same cast, but ones a thriller, the other more an action movie.
Hadn’t watched the fugitive in a long time. It’s really good. Kicked me off on a bit of a 90s watching binge.

Goatsnake sounding like Kyuss (Deathwish. 2020)
from the album Breakfast with the King b/w Deathwish
Specifically Wretch era Kyuss.
Sidenote: I read an interview with Greg Anderson recently talking about I and its influences.
*When the weather gets warm and the windows go down on the car, 1 is usually one of the first records I typically turn to in Spring. California isn’t a particularly doom-influenced part of the country, is it?
People used to ask me, how I could be so into doom, but live in southern California? Which is a good point, but Goatsnake took on some of the atmosphere of our surroundings. I was listening to Kyuss a lot at the time and Pete used to spend a lot of time out there and he was friends with Josh Homme and was around during the formation of Queens of the Stone Age. Kyuss was so powerful to me back in ’95. We used to jam a lot with people who liked heavy music like ‘70s obscurities like Cactus and Captain Beyond, Josh even joined in on a couple. He even went to The University of Washington too. We could all tell that Josh had a vision for something that was completely his own; he “big-leagued” us in a way, not spitefully of course.*
