Internet Forums disappearing is a real shame.
For my hobby there's still lots and lots of old and relevant archived forum threads that regularly help me out.
But for new information, that has all moved to Facebook Groups. This forces me to keep a Facebook account, which I hate and would otherwise ditch in a heartbeat.
Currently this also seems true in the UK. The cheap USB-C devices I have refuse to charge using a real USB cable. And instead need a USB-A to USB-C cable.
You might have been looking for the term understated.

Bot included skip links in its summary

In the linked comment, the bot did a reasonable job of summarising the article content. However, it's summary included the text from the navigation skip links on the article webpage. This made the summary more difficult to read.
I've had old clothes fall apart on first use after being put back into circulation. So I'd definitely recommend washing them before wearing, to help avoid any potential incidents.
This is the feature I miss most from Infinity. Hopefully it will come to Jerboa at some point.
I occasionally get timeouts when upvoting posts or comments. But it doesn't seem to happen at any other time.
The instances page on each instance shows the instances that it is federating with, and there's a section at the bottom which shows if ilthqt instance is blocking any others.
E.g. https://lemm.ee/instances
I don't know of any way to see if that instance is being blocked by other instances, except to visit the instances page on every instance individually. Which isnt really practical.
I'm using Jerboa, and posts seem don't disappear unless I interact with them (up vote, down vote, or open).
I keep forgetting this, which results in the same posts appearing over and over in the feed. This makes the platform seem inactive when it's really not.
Maybe you have something similar going on.
