Researchers Trained an AI on Flawed Code and It Became a Psychopath
  • Free will, fate, and randomness all play a role in our universe, each parameter affecting each other. There is no such thing as absolute free will, nor does absolute determinism guide our universe, nor does absolute randomness. I think however, that our closest understanding to the inherent nature of our universe is a form of randomness.

  • Welcome ex-Redditors!
  • I mean you say that, but it's not like every community on .ml is focused on politics man. Their largest communities are mostly about tech. And they have a pretty cool, albeit somewhat inactive datahoarders community, of whom I think some are helping with redundant archival of datasets being erased by Trump's administration.

Edit Addendum: For anyone who has the storage space, I would consider helping out with the effort.

  • Shutdown 315
  • Yeah, I mean look at what happened to Occupy Wall Street. You need clear concise demands, and shit that actually possible. And a general strike without major collaboration between unions and shite? Has there been any communication about this at all?

  • what should one archive in a fascist regime?

Reposted from c/politics since it violated their rule about needing to have a link:

Now that the fascists have taken over, what books, academic studies, and pieces of knowledge should take priority in personal/private archival? I'm thinking about what happened in Nazi Germany, especially with the burning of the Institute for Sexual Science(Institut für Sexualwissenschaft) and what was lost completely in the burnings.

Some of us should consider saving stuff digitally or physically. Redundancies will help preserve stuff.

    Seasonal Mining Limiter Concept?

I wonder if there can be made a cryptocurrency that locksdown mining during winter and summer months in order to put less stress on grids around the world as well as be more climate friendly?
