In a small town of Gravette, AR there is a little coffee shop called Grumpys Coffee with some groovy fucking art, and it’s run by a Vietnam vet. I’ve thought about traveling to Arkansas just for some Grumpys coffee. Do it if you can
I'm still very fresh in my journey, but my plan is to use a Weather API to find a location in the world that's raining, and then subsequently check a Camera API (like Earth Cam) to see if there's an available camera to be displayed for that region. As of right now just one feed at a time.
Not even sure how feasible it is, but it's been a goal of mine for a while
I’ve been revisiting my highschool years with a lot of Saosin and Circa Survive
Its been one day without Reddit
& I’m doing pretty good! The wefwef app has done a great job of recreating the Apollo experience and has made it a lot easier to not want to go and download the Reddit app. The more active it gets here, the easier it’ll be. How are you guys doing so far? Have you found an App for Lemmy that you prefer the most yet?
Welcome! Happy to have you, feel free to poke around and ask questions :)
I’ve played this game since I was a wee lad and my biggest piece of advice is just take your time and enjoy the game.
Don’t get sucked into what’s most efficient or what you should be doing, focus on what’s enjoyable for you.
The amount of content in this game is unimaginable and there’s so many things to do. Set an easy goal if you need some guidance like Barrows Glove or Fire Cape, and grind accordingly.
Welcome to the grind my friend
I’m having a damn good time here. Wefwef is feeling a lot like Apollo and I’m not really missing Reddit
Agreed, the memes are good and the conversations are civil. I love it here
Can not stress this enough. It’s helping a lot with the move
Welcome to the party!
Prior Apollo user here, using wefwef and its feeling very similar.
Honestly wefwef feels a lot like Apollo and is making the transition a lot more bearable
I'm going to miss a lot of the hobby subs like r/Unclebens and r/datahoarder but I'm excited to see how they grow here
