Turn Left at Orion is a great book to have alongside your scope! I believe it is broken down into seasons and what is viewable at those times.
The S20fe 5g is flat and has OLED. The flat screen is the reason I bought it. Still running as well as day one three years later. I have noticed a slight dip in battery life lately but I can get through a whole day with maybe 35% left. When this one dies, I will probably get another.
And insurance companies are abandoning Florida in droves.
The water around the Keys is 90-92 degrees currently. I don't know much about how ocean temps affect sea life but that seems very high.
You're supposed to wash blue jeans?! Next you are going to tell me that you have to wash underwear!
And there's always that torn up section on the right hip where the tape measure goes
Lmao this is gold. You gave me a nice chuckle. Thank you
I think it's like 500 pages but it's a pretty quick read. Definitely feels YA at times but overall I enjoyed it immensely. If you do read it, let me know what you think!
Wow that was fantastic! I vaguely remember watching something very similar (on a much much smaller scale) when I was in boy scouts. I imagine the cultural presence is much higher out where you are but here in the rural Midwest, things like a pow wow are almost unheard of. Although, maybe it's because I live about 1.5 hours from a major city.
Damn, that's rad. I mean, not the trail of tears stuff, but the artifact stuff. It's a shame the Natice American history is mostly forgotten about.
I haven't really found many fossils here but maybe I will someday while looking for arrowheads. Do you ever do any arrowhead hunting down in Texas? From what I hear, Texas is loaded!
I think so? I have never found any but Ohio was under water ~450 million years ago during the late Ordovician. I'm not sure what period ammonites are from but i do find a lot of coral fossils.
Have you ever thought about doing some arrowhead hunting?
Arrowheads and Native American artifacts are more prevalent than you might think! Try taking a look in areas of exposed earth. Native Americans had settlements and societies all across North and South America. You might be surprised by what you find!
Arrowheads - A place for enthusiasts to post their artifacts!

I just created this today and would encourage fellow enthusiasts to post their finds/collections!!!
Come check it out!
Image uploader turning images sideways
I am using Liftoff. Not sure if it's an app issue or what but when I select an image to upload from my phone gallery it's turned sideways when it's posted. Is there a way to reorient the image? Or am I better off just uploading to imgur and linking the post? I like how easy and quick the file uploaded is here though.
Welcome to the Arrowhead Community!
This is a place for everyone to show off their Native American artifact finds!
I only ask a few things:
-Please keep it civil.
-Please be respectful of the Native American culture!!! Collecting artifacts on public land is very illegal. If you find any major site/burial/graves, please report these to the appropriate authorities. Hunting on private lands is perfectly legal as long as you have permission.
-Unrelated posts will be removed.
Happy hunting!
How is ac odyssey? Been thinking about getting that or black flag. Haven't played since like ac 2 or 3.
Ya I'm not well versed with the camera aspect. Honestly when I got it I was just looking for a galaxy phone without a beveled edge. That was my main reason for getting it.
Lmao I honestly didn't know people have wooden hangers. We just use the cheap plastic ones. But someone said something about wooden hangers and I do woodworking as a hobby so I thought; hey, I could probably make a hanger!
My sunrise.
Not super rural. Midwest US. I live a few minutes from a small town (~500 population) and about 20 min from a larger city. I grew up in this town and finally have a place of my own here. This is where I have my coffee most mornings. We are on just over 2 acres. Surrounded by fields. It is just rural enough where it is so quiet at night and the skies are dark. The river is my happy place!
Just saw... top left corner there is a bell symbol...doesn't have an alert but you can see replies there.
Even if it wasn't push notifications I'd be fine. Like if there was only something like a red "!" Nex to your profile icon that would be enough for me.. hopefully something is implemented soon!!
Notifications on replies?
I have gotten numerous replies to comments. Do I not get notifications when replied to? Using Liftoff.
