What's a song you know that is really obscure but still amazing?
  • I'm not sure if this counts as obscure as its easy to google and someone who knows of might stumble across it, but its a remix of a boss battle song from the end of an almost 25 year old Kirby game, so I think normal people today would never come across it. I've never played the game its from, yet this is still one of my favorite songs of all time

I play it when I'm really stressed and it helps me calm down (it is not calming music, I don't know how to explain why it helps me)

  • My (re)discovery of roguelites
  • I went on a similar journey but instead of being pulled back in by hades, for me it was risk of rain 2. Now I've played risk of rain returns, hollow knight, and I'm just starting to get better at noita. Dead cells and hades have been on my radar for years, just haven't had time to pull the trigger on them yet

  • Many of you may have heard of the Youtuber Shadiversity's homophobia but there's another.
  • Not my autistics ass not realizing "homophonic" was a typo for "homophobic" and thinking this guy just really doesn't approve of people who sing in harmony with a melody (as opposed to polyphically, where there are multiple melodies) 💀 bruh why am I like this

  • ASUS warns of critical remote authentication bypass on 7 routers
  • The way to tell which ones are safe is to look up legal history for each company. When the home country of the company demands all the data they have, the companies are going to give all the data they have. So if a court order of a VPN yields nothing or almost nothing, then you know they really don't save any logs.

As someone else mentioned already, proton and mullvad are the good ones in, but that can change if either company gets bought out or changes management etc

  • Oh for sure, I'm not trying to defend the status quo, if anything g I'm saying we need kei trucks and stricter regulation making regular pickups smaller and more efficient. No one who doesn't actually need a massive hauling truck should have one imo

  • This is my reason for joining "Fuck Cars"
  • That's great but I simply do not believe most truck owners with these massive trucks are even thinking about towing or load capacity. Anecdotally, most of the people I know just want enough bedspace to be able to move thier couch when they switch apartments. I think most trucks could be a lot smaller and most people wouldn't be affected

  • Aren't those illigal to drive in most of the US? Besides that, they also cap at like 60mph, right? That really limits thier usefulness in a lot of the US, these are mostly good for cities, right?

Don't get me wrong I love kei trucks, but I think having small regular pickups would help a ton too.

  • FOSS Desktop 2FA app?

I'm trying to move away from Authy since they're ending support for their desktop app, and I thought Aegis would be the right app for me to jump to, but it doesn't seem to have a desktop app. So I'm wondering what FOSS apps the rest of you use for Desktop and Mobile 2FA?

I can't believe they removed 189 Cars GTA Online Fans Angry As 180+ Cars Get Removed, Some Paywalled

San Andreas Mercenaries is out today, and the new update both giveths and takeths…

I knew they said they'd be removing a few lesser-used cars, but 189?! I was going to buy some of the ones they removed too! These are not just old sh*t boxes from when the game first came out. I'm so incredibly disappointed in rockstar right now. I was excited to try the update before, but now that they're taking fomo and dripfeed to this level, I think it's best if I just try to stay away from online games like this where the experience can change at the drop of a hat anytime the developer or their boss feels like it.
