I am requesting modship for [email protected]
The existing mod has only ever made one post in there about 3 months ago. Even that was a result of me asking them to via DM. They have been inactive since.
After seeing it other users complaining about it in other communities I posted a notice in [email protected] that I come here and do this. I also suggested that if anyone else wanted it they could have it. It has been a week and I got a few responses but no one seemed interested taking the role.
Why do you care so much?
That's a very bizzare question. But, as mentioned on the community. I was a fan of it back in the day, appreciating it's innovative approach to interactive multimedia at a time I was studying that very subject. I think there is still a lot we can learn from it mistakes and all.
Also there's a lot of younger folks still involved with the community, by giving them a place on Lemmy to share, and reminisce I feel will benfit lemmy as a whole.
